Greetings! I'm new to Jellyfin, coming from Plex and I got everything set pretty easily (all media was on a dedicated NAS so I just connected Jellyfin to it and off I go).

The only notable problem I've run into so far is that if I'm watching through a series on the windows client, one episode plays and the subs are fine, when the next episode starts, the subs 'stack' in the lower left corner. Meaning it appears that the credits are completely left justified, and only one character wide. Doesn't happen all the time or with every transition between episodes, but often enough to check in to.

When it happens I just switch CC off and back on, and then it recenters and plays right.

Oddly I just hopped out of the episode I was watching (and had already corrected the issue on) to check something unrelated, and when I restarted the episode, it went back to 'stacked' subs. Switched off and back on again and it worked right.

Any ideas what the issue might be?

Thanks for any thoughts or input!

This is a bug with the Jellyfin Media Player client. SRT subs will be bunched up like that.

A quick fix is to go into full screen and back out, then the subs should be fixed.

Thanks I'll give that a try next time it comes up!
