    I am new to jellyfin.
I got it working on my synology NAS and already can stream videos and music on my phone.
I also own a Sonos speaker. I was used to be able to browse my music on my network drive using the sonos app.
They deactivated this feature and support asked me to use plex. I tried this but was not to happy with this solution.
Is there any way to use jellyfin to play musik on my SONOS speaker?

DLNA was moved from being built into Jellyfin to being a plugin. You will need to install the DLNA plugin, which is in the default repo, then restart Jellyfin. After that you should be able to use Jellyfin with your Sonos speaker.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1

I already had DLNA activated via the plugin but how to add it to sonos?

I'm assuming you are running Jellyfin as a docker container. What networking mode is the container using?

I see no chanca using the sonos-app - but it works from the jellyfin-web-interface. Use the "cast to device"-button in the uppper right of the page.

Works perfectlily from my windows-pc - but not from the ipad. I'll try some more in the next days...

edit: jellyfin-mobile-app solved the issue. Sonos now appears in the dlna-list.
