Sort including the definite article (The)

I found a setting in the config → settings.xml file to exclude words from sorting, and have removed the "THE" entry, and then restarted the server. However, the media/folders are still randomly scattered, with the definite article still be ignored anyway.

So, my question... just how do I get "The Object" to not appear in the Os - but in the Ts where it belongs?

Check the metadata (click ".." and edit metadata) for some of these "The" films and see if a "sorting name" was populated.
