I have the following problem with my LG Old c4 with the Jellyfin app.
If I watch a movie and don't finish it, turn off the tv and then want to continue watching later, it doesn't work.
the file stops and the video doesn't run anymore.
if I let the movie run from the beginning, I have no problems.
    anyone have a solution?

Need more information including a server log when this happens, an ffmpeg log (if transcoding is taking place), and a mediainfo or ffprobe output of the media in question. Please upload logs to an external bin site like privatebin.net and use a code block for the mediainfo (or upload to privatebin as well).

You should disable the Prefer fMP4-HLS Media Container setting in the app settings.

I've seen the same issue on my LG as well. My quick fix has been to disconnect the network cable from the Jellyfin server for a second or two and then plug it back in. Since I can't reliably reproduce the problem, it's been hard to pinpoint—too many logs to sift through and not enough clear patterns. Maybe one of these days I'll catch it properly.

Hope this helps! I'd be curious to know if you're able to consistently reproduce the issue on your end.
