Hello guys,
I am a new Jellyfin user and quite impressed overall. Unfortunately, I habe the following issue whem playing SOME of my videos:
Randomly, the stream freezes for 2-3 seconds maybe every 1-5 minutes.
This occurs on all devices i could try: PC, Ipad, Android Phone, TV
The server is running in a Docker container on a Raspberry Pi 5. //Edit ok now I read this in the official Wiki: "Please AVOID Rapsberry Pi 5 for Jellyfin."
But since in DONT want to use transcoding on the Pi itself i should be finde, shouldnt i? Since from what i understand are my devices doing the transcoding stuff and they perform quite well doing so, when NOT accessing the videos through jellyfin... (Just over the network using smb)
The files are stored on an external USB hard drive formatted in EXT4, and they are shared over the network using Samba.
If i play the files directly over the network with - for example - the VLC Media Player, it works without any issues.
Edit: Transcoding is off and Network speed is fine
