Hey all, I Have recently started using Jelly fin and all works out pretty well apart from some new videos I have stuttering on mobile. I suspect its something to do with the source FPS but wanted to check. I have turned off transcoding as its only a 720p (maybe 1080p) video and I still need to setup quicksync. however when i'm playing a few movies its coming back with almost exactly 10 dropped frames per tick. The media is a film but is from the Pal version with the source video at 50fps, ive discovered this works fine from the Jellyfin Media player app on my desktop (bazzite) but on my phone experiences the dropped frames.
This is all while inside the home network without bitrate limits etc. I did remox?Reformat? this to pal film 25fps and this dosnt have any dropped frames but the quality is significantly less (still need to work on) but either way I assume this shouldn't happening I have tested other 720p 50FPS media with the same codec etc and that runs fine (although that is native 50fps due to being TV show)
any assistance would be much apprenticed. let me know if you need any specific info.
