I was just coming back to say that my lovely wife asked me the most simple thing" does the Android clients have settings". I slapped myself a few times after and then looked. yup settings. I switched them to use "integrated player" and they now all work.

Can you clarify your setup?  You label your Ugreen NAS as the "server" then listed an Intel CPU.  Is the Ugreen NAS just storage, or is Jellyfin running on it?  Or is Jellyfin running on the system with the Intel CPU?

Also, I need your ffmpeg log since it appears that it is failing to transcode for some reason.  If your Jellyfin server is running on the Intel based system, can you also share your docker compose for the Jellyfin container?

Okay so I have a 6-bay Ugreen Nas that has a Intel i5-1235U inside it. The Ugreen Nas is a Intel system. I use it as storage and to run jellyfin server on it through the docker app.

    ffmpeg log - https://pastebin.com/JM5jkzm6

The image I use is jellyfin/jellyfin:latest

And what do you mean "share your docker compose for the Jellyfin container"... How would i go about doing that?  Face-with-monocle

I was assuming that you were running Jellyfin on a separate device.

I'm assuming your NAS has some sort of UI for configuring the Jellyfin container.  Did you make the iGPU available to the container?  It isn't able to access the GPU.

Okay so when I check on the current one for the "graphics card performance"  It is disabled. Should I turn it on for the iGPU to work?

That's a new option that they must of added inn the latest update on there docker app bc that option was not there when I first set it up lol

    I guess?

In other "NAS" OSes, there is a setting usually called "GPU Passthrough" or "Device Passthrough" or some variation of that.

But if that is what UGreen calls it, it can't hurt to try.

Got it. I'll try it out when I get home and will get back to you on it.

When I hover over the option it say "used for GPU handwear exploration in apps like Jellyfin" So I'll give it a shot.

    Thank you!
