subtitle position

How can I change the position of subtitles in jellyfin media player? I want to upload the subtitles a little more but I don't know if it's possible to do it, well since it has mpv integrated, it's supposed to be possible but I have no idea how someone can help me?

You'd be looking at editing subtitles with an external program and you'd have to be using an advanced subtitles format like ASS/SSA and not SRT or PGS which don't lend themselves to that sort of editing. I've used Aegisub in the past but you may be biting off more than you'd like to chew. Subs are a rabbit hole...

So it is not possible to modify the position of the subtitles in jellyfin media player? All the subtitles I use are in ASS, I don't use another format

Settings > Subtitles.  You can adjust the vertical position to some degree.

it doesn't work and i don't use the web because of transcoding, i use jellyfin player

That setting doesn't apply to ASS subs anyway, so the only option would be to use an editor as far as I know. You're not out of luck, but an editor is the only way I know of at the moment. Good luck.
