subtitle settings don't work on roku

Hello, new member here. I just discovered Jellyfin after many years using Plex. Still using Plex, but also enjoying using Jellyfin.

I stream from my computer (Jellyfin server) to a Roku, but I'm finding that my subtitle settings don't seem to have any effect on the Roku. e.g. if I set the subtitles to be "small" or "smaller", and reposition them to the top of the screen, those settings work on my computer (web interface) but don't have any effect on the subtitles I see on my TV via the Roku.

Is there a way to fix that?

The settings you are changing only affect the web client. You would need to check the Roku app settings to see what can be changed.
