    Folders view/containment in library?

How can I split my collections into folders and have the folders visible?

I am using the latest version of Jellyfin, a fresh install on a new PC.
If I click on my library, it shows these 2 media objects as if they were in one folder. This is the play button for them, not the folders.

However I have them setup as 2 different folders.

How do I get jellyfin to recognize that so I can have a folder for each show/movie series and play them rather then having everything bunched on one screen?

My book library seems to do it just fine.

So you must of just added the Shared folder to a Jellyfin library that's why its showing everything at once.

You generally want to keep your shows and movies in separate libraries, the metadata matching will work better if there separate.

    You want a folder structure like TV Shows/Tacoma FD/Season 1/Tacoma FD - S01E01.mkv

So have a folder TV Shows and keep all your TV Shows in there. When you go to add the folder set the content type to shows for TV shows and add your folder, click OK. That way it should pull the correct metadata for each show. And you do the same process for you movies folder.
