Swiftfin on Apple TV compatibility

(I hope this is the right place for my question.)
I’m currently using the most recent AppStore release of Swiftfin on Apple TV (1.0.1).
(I know Swiftfin on iOS has recently been updated, but there was no update for tvOS jet.)
My Jellyfin server is still on Version 10.8.13.
I technically want to update Jellyfin to the newest version, so my question now is if that old/current Version of Swiftfin is compatible with the current version of Jellyfin (10.9.7)?

There should be a tvOS release, if I'm reading the github correctly. Though, it may only be available via TestFlight.

There were significant API changes in 10.9. I doubt the old version is compatible.

In the tvOS AppStore it shows me 1.0.1 as the most recent version (more than a year ago). So I assume the recent release just involves iOS and iPadOS. If I understood it correctly there is only a TestFlight instance for tvOS planned and not up jet. But unfortunately TestFlight isn't even a viable option for me at the moment.

Thank you very much for your presumption on compatibility. So I guess I still have to wait a bit to upgrade Jellyfin.
