I'm trying to construct album playlists from a compilation set of CDs (ripped FLAC).  Specifically, the unique albums that are in Citizen Steely Dan (Can't Buy a Thrill, Countdown to Ecstacy, Pretzel Logic, Katy Lied, Royal Scam, Aja & Gaucho).  I'd each playlist to get metadata/album art for the correct album.  Is there a way to get Jellyfin to link the appropriate metadata?  Is there a third party tool that can do it?  Or am I stuck doing it manually?  Not that familiar with Jellyfin so trying to figure out what it can and can't do.

    Thanks

Musicbrainz has an app called "Picard" that can analyze music and auto-tag, and even rename files (optional), in a way that works well with Jellyfin.

Keep in mind that each release is mastered slightly differently with different audio finger prints. Picard will tag a song with the release that it most closely matches. I also have some compilation CDs and Picard correctly identifies that the files belong to that compilation album instead of the various albums they originally belonged to.

BUT you can override that. And Picard's UI makes that process much simpler and quicker to make mass changes.
