Jellyfin will not update metadata or library

I'm having an issue with Jellyfin not updating metadata or library. I have tried to scan my entire library and it has not detected new media. Similarly when I go to refresh metadata I get a "Refresh Queued" message, but nothing happens and nothing appears in the logs.

I'm running Jellyfin in docker via CasaOS on Ubuntu Server 24.04.3. My media is on an external drive that is automatically mounted and passed on the the container. I'm fairly new to Linux so I might be missing something obvious, but I have not found a solution yet with hours of research!
