I have the Jellyfin server running on a Raspberry Pi 4 (Bullseye), which I'm having difficulty using with my LG TV.

Opening the LG Media Player app usually doesn't show the Jellyfin server as a source, until I restart the server (systemctl restart jellyfin.service). A few hours later, the source will disappear again. Oddly, it works fine when I try and access the library via BubbleUPnP on my Android phone.

I have enabled DLNA server in the dashboard (of course), turned on 'Blast alive messages' and set both client discovery and blast alive message intervals to 10.

    Anything else I should try?

Try opening ports 1900 (UDP) and 7359 (UDP) in the server's firewall. They may be opening up via uPnP and then expires?

Does your LG TV run webOS or Android TV? You could try the official Jellyfin apps for either OS if it does.

    Thanks, @TheDreadPirate.

I'll give that a go, as soon as I figure out how to do firewall stuff on the Raspberry Pi!

Read up on "ufw" (uncomplicated firewall). It may already be installed.
