So I've been using JF for 6 months or so now and on the whole I'm very pleased but wanted to have some input into making it better. My requests apply to just music as this is the only thing I seem to have a problem with.
I tend to open using the Jellyfin windows client and select random to play my music in the background while I work. I have two things to say about this;
1. Random - I would like more options for this - random, tracks, albums, artists but also I would like some kind of "repeat" control whereby I select something like don't repeat for X number of plays - track, artist for say 1 to 1000 tracks played (I have over 5,000 tracks).
2. A problem I have had in learning is file formats and tags, also deleting files get me in a mess when playing on random. I'm ok with the system throwing up an error but I don't think it should stop on a playback error. Can it be possible that it meets an playback error but then continues to the next track on the list? Perhaps the track that had the problem can be marked in some way that the system doesn't try to play it again. Perhaps it can even set a tag "error".
