    Hello,

I'm considering my options for a Jellyfin setup and am curious what you all think about the suitability of my tired, old, HTPC. It's currently running Windows 7 but I'd dual boot it to Ubuntu for Jellyfin. Here are the particulars of the machine. How do you think it will do? Would using this machine cause any deficiencies for Jellyfin?

    Thanks!

If you require any amount of transcoding, this PC is not suitable.

There are several options that are budget friendly if that is something you're willing to do.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1
