when I imported the metadata in version 10.8.13 the episode title changed automatically but when I import it in 10.9.3 it doesn't change, is there any way it can change the episode name automatically again? Follow screenshot of the same episode in both versions

Did you configure the library to prefer the embedded title in the file?

So which do you want? Do you want to prefer the embedded title or the title from the online DB?

Open the library settings and uncheck the embedded title setting. I'm not sure if you will need to rescan and "replace all metadata" to get Jellyfin to replace the name.

I tried with the embedded title unchecked, but jellyfin still isn't replacing the episode names

You probably need to rescan and select replace all metadata. Try on a single episode or show before running it on your whole library.

Remove the folders from your library, rescan so the entries are removed. Put the folders back in your library and rescan to re-add them.
