    Hi,
Subtitles keep displying in the corner of the screen, can't figure out why. Will attach a screenshot as an example and an excerpt from the debug log from when I started and paused playback of the file. Any help would be appreciated! If anything else is required let me know.
Jellyfin server and application are both version 10.9.10, installed from Debian repository.

What kind of subtitles are these? I'm assuming SRT?

And what client are you playing this on?

Yep they are SRT. I'm using the desktop client but I checked with the web app and it actually seems worse there, disabling and reenabling on the desktop client usually corrects them but on the web client they stay broken.

Are the subtitles embedded or external? Can you attach the SRT subtitles to a forum post? If they're embedded you can use ffmpeg to extract them.

    Code:
    /usr/lib/jellyfin-ffmpeg/ffmpeg -i "/mnt/5FC81642503262FB/S2/Movies/Godzilla Minus One (2023)/Godzilla Minus One (2023) (1080p BluRay x265 SDR DDP 7.1 English - Yogi HONE).mkv" -vn -an -c:s copy Godzilla.srt

I don't have a lot of SRT subs, but the few I have I haven't been able to replicate your problem.

I want to try inserting your SRT track into a test video.

Hey, sorry I missed the notification of the reply.
    https://filetransfer.io/data-package/tZC34pjJ#link
Here is a link to the SRT, though I should mention that it doesn't happen with just this one file. Some shows seem much worse than others for it, even when getting new subtitles using Jellyfin's OpenSubtitle plugin.
    Thanks for your help!

Edit: I just noticed you asked me to attach the SRT file to a new post, let me know if you'd rather that then the link.

I can replicate this behavior on JMP with any external srt file.

    1. Use an external SRT file.
    2. Select the SRT file before playback begins.
    3. Make sure JMP is not in fullscreen mode.

    Server: 10.9.10
    JMP 1.11.1
    Windows 11

The issue goes away once I enable fullscreen.

    Bug report.

Oh amazing, thank you! I never generally use fullscreen so never realised that was an easy fix, that'll do me until there's a permanent solution. Thanks again!
