Changing the Genre tab

I don’t know if tab is the right word, but in a movie library, we have a tab or link for Movies, Collections, Suggestions, Favorites, Trailers and Genres.  On the Genres page, is it possible to add Genres?  I was hoping that creating a new genre (Film Noir) on a few movies would add that genre on the Genres tab, but apparently not?  I don’t see any settings or config options anywhere

You can create custom genre's by editing a movie's metadata. You need to First edit the metadata for an item. Add a custom genre and save. Go to the Dashboard and press the "Scan All Libraries" button. After that the genre you created in your movie will on the genres page.
