I can't figure out how to set the new transliterator settings in order to fix incorrect sorting of cyrillic titles https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/pull/12378
It's self-explanatory when running a container, but I am running a debian server install and adding the variable to /etc/default/jellyfin seems to have no effect. Any help and/or directions would be greatly appreciated.

Adding it like JELLYFIN_TRANSLITERATOR_ID="" into /etc/default/jellyfin should be picked up by the transliterator, what is the problem are you facing?

That is exactly what I did, but on a library scan nothing in terms of sorting is changed, and the issue on GH states that it should be enough to trigger the library update. Unless one needs to readd the whole library from scratch, but would prefer to avoid it.

You need to use the replace all metadata option I think.

    Thank you! Will try that.
