Can't Identify Artist with Search

I've been trying to update the information for a few artists in my library and have found trying to search for their info using the TMDB of other database ID's is returning no results. Am I doing something incorrect?

Since you said "artist" I'm assuming you are referring to Music?

Music and Film.

Using the id for a person from any of the database sites isn't returning results in the search. Trying to update John Williams in video from someone who died in 1988 and in music from just nothing....
