I'm running Jellyfin on a RaspberryPi5 with 8GB of ram. It's running in a docker container, it worked perfectly well for a couple of days and all of a sudden it's stopped.

    Pastebin of the error: https://pastebin.com/jhaU7kTT

    Relevant error:

    Code:

Any clues? I tried tearing down and rebuilding the docker container but nada...

Ended up resetting Jellyfin entirely and that fixed it... Still curious about the cause in case it happens again though!

I'd have to see the ffmpeg log but, IIRC, exit 254 is a file permission issue?

Looks like the issue was caused by a drive formatted with exFat. Not sure how it worked so well for so long and then completely died out of nowhere.

Thank you for the suggestion, helped me figure out what to look for!

I got same issue when I changed ip address of jellyfin server.

    Just re-install jellyfin service,
    Commands: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-completely-...g-jellyfin
    Then install again. It's fixed.

    By the way,
My video source is mounted shared_folder of Vmware.
based on the log show "System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path" but it's exisit.
I guess some occurred was happened before FFmpeg processing.

Can you share your full jellyfin log via privatebin.net?
