    Ok,

There is no fMP4 setting anywhere in settings

I just stood up Kodi on a Linux device with the TVHeadEnd add-in and it plays just fine.

On your home screen click on your user name top right corner (that's the settings menu). Then click on "Playback" and unselect "Prefer fMP4-HLS Media Container", which is under the Advanced submenu.

    OK,

    Back here again.

Everything is setup per the guide (https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server...tvheadend/) but when I refresh the Guide Data, I get a little bit of blue line and then nothing further.

    Any thoughts?

Did you provide an XML for Jellyfin to read from? After doing that you also need to map the channels defined in the guide to a channel from your tuner.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100

    Um,

    What?

Where does it say anything about an XML file here: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server...tvheadend/

    How might that be done?

And how do I "map the channels defined in the guide to a channel from your tuner."?

This is all a recent occurrence.  When I set it up, this all worked fine.

I'm guessing an update or something borked it.

And this part is incorrect as there isn't an entry called "Channel Numbers"

    Thanks!

    Have you done this part?

I went through the process of setting up a tvheadend server for the first time and all the steps listed here: https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server...tvheadend/ are still up to date and working on 10.9.11. You shouldn’t need to take any additional steps. Could you share your server logs via Pastebin?

    Well,

As shown above, there is nothing labelled "Channel Numbers" in the TVHEADEND>Configuration>DVB Inputs>Networks. Sorry.

I'll send you whatever you want.  Which logs do you want and where are they?
