I set up my docker install fresh yesterday and now having a problem that transcoding doesn't work.

Jellyfin is run on a Proxmox LXC (Ubuntu 22.04, unpriviledged) and the setup has worked before, although I haven't used transcoding for a while so not sure at what point it has broken.

    Fresh log from ffmpeg: https://pastebin.com/BAHYg7LD

So the issue is clearly this:
Quote:[AVHWDeviceContext @ 0x5cb1015751c0] No VA display found for any default device.
    Device creation failed: -22.
Failed to set value 'vaapi=va:,kernel_driver=i915,driver=iHD' for option 'init_hw_device': Invalid argument
Error parsing global options: Invalid argument

    va-api should be setup correctly:

    Quote:Trying display: wayland

    Trying display: x11
error: can't connect to X server!

Nevermind, it was my own mistake. Forgot to pass the render group ID in the docker compose file.

    Seems to work now.
