i recently redid my jellyfin library and ran into a issue where multi-season shows all have the episode name and description of the first season.
for some reason the thumbnails are correct.
i have tried manually setting them but they just end up being replaced every time it syncs.

is there something i could be missing?

What metadata provider are you using? AniDB?

Yes, i also tried AniList, AniSearch and any other that were anime related.
If i put them in standalone folders their names show correctly but the images wont.

I don't think any of those sources support seasons. From my experience, AniDB specifically, those providers considers additional seasons of a show as separate shows and not seasons of the original.

I recommend you use TMDB as your primary provider with AniDB/Anilist/Anisearch as image providers only.

How do i set TMDB as the primary source?
I saw other mention about that as well in the passed but i haven't figured out where in the control panel it is.

You go into the config for your Shows/Anime library and change the order of metadata providers.  Enable TMDB and ensure it is at the top of each list.

the Title and description are fixed now.. but jelly now decided to use S1 images (will poke the metadata setting for it)
i currently have all anime aimed providers off as a start
