Jellyfin on Nvidia Shield Pro

Brand new Shield with latest updates installed.  I have a server running Jellyfin in a Docker container and the Media stored on a Synology NAS.  I replaced a working Roku with the Shield and downloaded the JF client from the Play Store.  When attempting to connect using the JF IP (just like when setting up on Roku), there is an error message that version 10.9.10 is not supported.
Surely there is a way to make this high dollar player run JF.  Anyone have any suggestions?  And many thanks.

It's like the app says. You're using an old and unsupported version of the Jellyfin server that needs to be updated first.
