Hello, I just recently got a GPU for jellyfin and I'm confused on how to setup the hardware encoding for it, I looked at the docs but I wasn't too sure. I have an RTX 3050 6GB and when I tried to set it up originally it worked for a little bit then it kept giving errors saying Critical Error On Playback and I don't know if I was doing it wrong or if its just broken.

What OS are you running? And how did you configure transcoding? Can you share screenshots of Dashboard > Playback > Transcoding?

Use this table.
https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encod...matrix-new TLDR; you can decode everything, you CANNOT encode AV1, enable tone mapping.
