My recordings seem to play fine without audio lag.
However, when I switch to live tv, the audio becomes out of sync.  The longer the channel plays the more out of sync the audio gets.
Maybe I can turn off transcoding - would that be the problem?
    Ideas?

I am thinking it is the tv itself and not a Jellyfin issue. ???

Are you forcing libVLC as the player on your TV?

I'm not really sure. I just searched for the Jellyfin app, and installed it with using all the default settings. The TV is a 4k that is a year old now. Not sure where the settings would be. BOY, the instructions for the TV were so 'bare bones' that you had to punt just to hook it up. Online instructions, weren't much better.

In your Android TV, on the home screen go to the settings in the top right, Playback, and then go to the bottom and set the preferred media player to exoplayer and check "direct stream live TV".

    Couldn't find that setting.
I do notice that it exhibits the same thing in the Kodi app. Recorded programs play fine, but when trying to watch live tv with the app it does the same audio lag
But there is no lag when I switch to the TV's native tv app there is no lag.

    EDIT
    Discovered Problem!
I unplugged the Onkyo Receiver -- and BOOM -- Live TV played flawlessly and audio in sync.

Now I just got to figure out what to do with my Onkyo RC-911R Receiver. (TV sounds terrible without the audio system attached.)

    Second EDIT
Turned out to be _ -
Onkyo receiver had the TV input audio off my 6 clicks off. Once I adjusted that to zero, that fixed the audio lag.
