Hey there,
Newb here with a question.
Setup:
PC server connected to home network, accessed remotely (most of the time on home wifi network)
From time to time I try to access my server from another network (i.e. somewhere other than home, on a different wifi), and that's where I have issues. Server just doesn't load.
I've tried and tried troubleshooting on my own to no avail.
I have 8096 port forwarded per instructions, and have tried a bunch of other settings suggested. I would think it was a firewall issue, but from what I can tell my firewall permissions are set up properly.
I do not own my own wifi network (I use someone else's) so I can't get to the right settings to setup a remote proxy or use DuckDNS as has been suggested, so I'm stuck just trying to figure out the firewall/port forwarding.
Any suggestions much appreciated.
