Hi everyone,
I need your help, since I'm kind of stuck.
My setup is as follows:
- small minipc with attached storage,
- some HDDs for media storage,
- Jellyfin 10.10.5 in Docker
- Philips Ambilight TV 65PUS8508 running the latest AndroidTV
- Marantz NR1711 with a 5.1 speaker set connected, TV connected via HDMI (compatible with Atmos, TrueHD, DTS:X...)
Whenever I play HDR files, even in 2160p the TV states HDR active, DolbyVision active, so imho that works fine.
Now I was trying to play a file with TrueHD Atmos but the Marantz says it's a DD track.
My question is:
Is my setup suitable for these kind of files? In the ffmpeg log (attached) it looks like the soundtrack got transcoded. Why is that? Some DTS-HD files just playedback fine and it was also shown in the Marantz screen as such.
Do I need a 7.1 or 5.1.2 setup for Atmos to actually play?
Thank you in advance!
