After upgrading and having to add my libraries again I've run into the following issue. All of my movies and shows now have the year appear after the title. I name my files correctly so this isn't the problem. I've also removed and added my show library again due to another issue but the year keeps appearing after the title.

For the example in your screenshot, can you provide the exact folder structure and filenames?

So I just tried removing the year from the folder name which appears to solve the issue. Its just weird that before updating to 10.11 this didn't happen. Plus I'm using the recommended naming convention Jellyfin suggests so I'm a bit lost...

Try scanning the library with the search for missing metadata option.

Hey I got the same issue, the only thing that fixes it is to do a scan and replace all metadata.
But it happens everytime new media is added.

My folder structure looks like this

    "Z:\Movies\Gladiator II (2024) [imdbid-tt9218128]\Gladiator II (2024) [imdbid-tt9218128] - [Bluray-1080p][TrueHD Atmos 7.1][8bit][x264].mkv"

    Gladiator II (2024) [imdbid-tt9218128]
    ├── Gladiator II (2024) [imdbid-tt9218128] - [Bluray-1080p][TrueHD Atmos 7.1][8bit][x264].mkv
    ├── logo.jpg
    ├── backdrop.jpg
    ├── folder.jpg
    ├── landscape.jpg
    ├── movie.nfo

And in jellyfin it has the title exactly as the folder name (Gladiator II (2024) [imdbid-tt9218128]).

search for missing metadata does not seem to change anything, only choosing to replace existing metadata does.
