Hi. i am using kodi 18.5 leia (windows 10). And there is no way that kodi finds the subtitles inside the MKV files. i opened the file with MPC and VLC and they find perfectly the subtitles. I also tried to open it with the jellyfin web, and it works perfectly. Only kody doesnt find any subtitles. I have been googling and reading post since yesterday to fix it, but seems that the tutorials and forum post i found doesnt work. I also tried to register inside the Kodi forum to ask for support directly to kodi, but registration doesnt accept my email and name ( wich is funny because its my real name and my real email).
Is there any jellyfin users that already had this issue and know how to fix this?
this is the media info from the subtitles contained inside the mkv file:
Text #1 ID : 4 Format : UTF-8 Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8 Codec ID/Info : UTF-8 Plain Text Duration : 1 h 12 min Bit rate : 3 b/s Count of elements : 67 Stream size : 1.73 KiB (0%) Title : Español forzados Language : Spanish Default : No Forced : Yes Text #2 ID : 5 Format : UTF-8 Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8 Codec ID/Info : UTF-8 Plain Text Duration : 1 h 15 min Bit rate : 40 b/s Count of elements : 810 Stream size : 22.2 KiB (0%) Title : Español Language : Spanish Default : No Forced : No Text #3 ID : 6 Format : UTF-8 Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8 Codec ID/Info : UTF-8 Plain Text Duration : 1 h 16 min Bit rate : 61 b/s Count of elements : 1320 Stream size : 34.5 KiB (0%) Title : English Language : English Default : No Forced : No
this is a screen show showing the kodi dont find anything
Since i dont have internet at home, i am interested to get the subtitles from the mkv, not from any internet addon.
I already tried diferent configuration in kodi like changing the default lenguaje to my lenguaje ( Spanish). But nothing worked.
Any idea of how to fix that?
