Dashboard -> Networking -> Allow Remote Connections to this server

Make sure that is turned on.

As a insanity checker open a web browser on your phone (while on wifi) and visit your server ipaddress:8096 and the web inteface should pop right up.

Thanks... I think I'm missing something here.... Allow remote... is checked on. I suspect I'm struggling with the meaning of remote. All of my devices are within the network. I've always assumed (yeah I know) that remote was outside my network. Ditto inside or outside of my firewall(s).  Is this not so?

Remote is any other device period. Edit - to clarify, it means inside of your network & outside.

Sounds like your clients (players) aren't automatically seeing your server, so just manually enter address... Depending on your router its usually something like 192.168.1.xxx:8096, as others have instructed, run ipconfig on your server you will see your server address, then punch that into your client and you should be up and running.

Like I said, enter that address into any non server device on your network on a webbrowser and it should come right up. It should also work on the server.

If that doesn't work then we might have some more to work through. But I can't imagine its a big deal, on the way you get to learn some networking stuff!

I got the same problem now that i got a new pc with Win11 Confused-face With my old pc with Win10, everything was ok.

It is Port Fowarded to 8096 TCP in my Fritzbox (i had to make a new one because of the new pc). But my mobile phone (android app), android browser nor my firestick can find a server.

RE: No server found - Ravn73 - 2023-10-29

I think that i found out what the problem is, at least now i can connect. In the Windows Firewall, i turned it to public. Private is still active too. Its works for me. Probably somebody should make a guide how to use it as a windows server and put that with windows firewall in it.
