I have noticed that when I "click" on the jellyfin android tv app on my TV and it takes me to a menu where I can choose a server and user and choose my user where I have saved my login details and only then it takes me to a menu where I can see movies/series/collections. So the connection works and through the Dashboard I can control that user, send messages and the intro skipper works for that user. But the moment I "click" on the app and it takes me straight to the menu where I can see the movies/series/collections, in 70% of the cases I can't control that user via Dashboard and the intro skipper doesn't work either. I thought the problem only exists on Android TV but it turns out it's not only. I bought a new Android phone (Galaxy S24) and it also has a problem playing hevc files. I don't understand this, on my previous phone with Android 6 and on the old streamer with Android TV 9 everything works smoothly. How come on new devices everything stutters? |
