    Hi,
I've been using Jellyfin for about a year, and have been generally puzzled about this issue for most of the time using it.

Essentially random videos will just not scan in.
I can re-scan the library, re-create the library, move files to a new drive or even network location, wipe the video's metadata, heck even transcode the video to a new file/format and it simply will not appear. Everything else, but the video in question.
But for some reason it is always videos that originated from YouTube.
Elsewhere? Fine. But about 1/10 YouTube videos no matter what will refuse to appear in Jellyfin. Which is a shame as we like to watch trailers and such together before playing new game releases etc.

Is there some sort of filtering or tagging I'm unaware of that could be responsible? I'm at a complete loss here. Considering a fresh server installation at this point. It would be a bit of a hassle, but functionality comes first.

I wouldn't know what logs to provide for this specific issue, but pointers would be very much welcome.

Sorry if I've missed some specific FAQ thing related to the issue at hand. I've been searching for a solution for a long time, and this is my reason to finally make an account and post.

What type of library are you adding it to? What's your folder structure and naming scheme for the files and folders?
