My current Jellyfin server is on an ancient Dell running Windows 10. I'm not the most competent PC or Networking guy around, but I handle all the basic stuff just fine. Is using a Geekom Mini PC as a 24/7 Jellyfin server an unwise move? I need to upgrade to Windows 11 and the Dell I have can't handle it. My current Jellyfin Server consists of about 15 External WD drives 10TB to 20TB units. It's gross, I know. My goal is to get a used Supermicro 4U 36-drive server, but I don't have the $$ and time for that at the moment. I really wanted to just swap out my old Dell for something with Windows 11 for now and be done with it. The machine with also be running the common ARR & BT apps. I'm not a healthy person and going through a tough spell at the moment, hence, my quicker and easier is better attitude currently...
Are these capable? I could spend a little more, but not much...
I just read that AMD is not recommended in the hardware guide, so I am switching my example to:
