    Hello All

I had to reinstall my whole media environment. Before the issue that caused this rebuild all worked well.

In my lated rebuil;d i installed jellyfish as an app within truenas scale (all with latest updates)

as I repopulate my libraries i see may mp4 and mkv videos that cannot be played within Jellyfin. Certain videos are h264 and more h265

I trolle the forum and the net and i cannot understand what i should do

I'm running all this on a dell r720 no gpu

May posts talk about ffmpeg (which i do not understand). IMHO i feel that my issue has to do with my installation and configuration of Jellyfin.

Can someone please point me to where i should find what i should do?

    Thank you
    Servers: Dell r720 128gb ram  2x 5690  24tb HGST
    Supermicro x10 32 gb ram 1 X 5675   20TB HGST
Truenas scale with Jellyfin  as an app in truenas on both
I still say to use less internet and use more cabernet (responsibly (only if driving))
    be well now
