Is the network interface, itself, set to private?
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...0da607448d On my system, I only see private rules.

My wifi networks were set to public so I tried switching to private and restarted my router and computer just to be safe. When I tried again, port 7359 in the listening section says "allowed, not restricted" where as before it also said "not allowed, not restricted." Port 8096 still says "not allowed, not restricted." Also interesting is that now the Jellyfin app on my Android phone automatically shows my computer as an available server where as before it didn't find anything. When I try to connect it says unable to reach server.

Those two rules you have in Windows firewall, set both to private. I believe one is UDP connections and one is TCP connections. Both should be set to private now.

Now it's working on my Android phone and on my Chromecast. |
