    Hello there,

Appologies if this has been asked before but how would you go about setting up SSL if I connect to my server using Tailscale?
I use Tailscale to access my Jellyfin server as I currently have limited access to port forwarding etc etc.
In theory I don't need SSL as Tailscale uses end to end encryption anyways.
However, if I was to secure my server using SSL, how would I go about doing so?

    Many thanks, PT

There is literally zero benefit, and a lot of headache, to adding SSL if your server is accessed exclusively with Tailscale for remote clients. Especially if you use self-signed certs.
    Jellyfin 10.10.7 (Docker)
    Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS w/HWE
    Intel i3 12100
    Intel Arc A380
    OS drive - SK Hynix P41 1TB
    Storage
4x WD Red Pro 6TB CMR in RAIDZ1

Ah alright then, I won't bother.
Thanks for the reply though ;p
