Dear reader,
I am moving to a new server environment. Proxmox, with a VM that has Ubuntu and Jellyfin. Nothing special. I mounted the HDD, with pass-through, mind you, I didn't virtualize it, because I don't want the other VMs to be able to access it.
During no usage, the heads can be heard moving, clearly. Which is not good. On my old server it didn't do this.
When I shutdown the VM, the HDD is unmounted and stops this behavior. When I do attach it to the main proxmox node, it spins, but doesn't make odd noises, as if the heads are moving quickly. Just noises I expect. What could be it?
