Why is the browser responding with the public IP (which I censored)?  "Localhost" should not resolve to your public IP.

And when you say you cannot access localhost "anywhere", are you referring to your other devices?  Or specifically from the same PC running Jellyfin?

Changing the network on the server to private and restarting seems to have resolved it. Thank you

I finally got things running. I'm not sure how, but it's running now and updating details properly. Now the Android app isn't working. I get a bizarre IP address that is not my IP when I try to access it. I'm going to put a not in that forum, too. Thanks for the thoughts

Are you relying on the service discovery function when trying to use Jellyfin on your phone? Are you able to manually type in your server's IP?
