Home Videos in Folders when Browsing?

Can I get rid of the folders and have it work like movies?

I noticed that if I choose "home videos and photos" as my library option and each of those videos are in their own folder, Jellyfin shows the folders when browsing that library rather than the video inside each folder, except on the home screen where it shows the video. So when browsing, I just have a grid of folders. Is there a way to change that without pulling all of my videos out of each subfolder they are in?

I noticed that if I choose "movies" as the library type, it shows the videos inside the folders and not the folders, but the videos have vertical images like movie posters. Which makes sense because I chose movies. But they aren't movies. They don't have posters. When using Jellyfin in the browser, I can change the view type to card view which corrects this and all is well. But in the Roku app, that option doesn't exist. Be nice if it did. But I also noticed that the Roku app changes your sorting options for every library rather than just the one you're in. Which is not great.
So if I want card view, I have to use "home video and photos" as the library type and find a way to have it not show a grid of folders. I'd hate to have to pull every file out of every folder.

    Any solutions?

P.S. Also, side note regarding the Roku app. Now that Plex has severely screwed up their Roku interface, any change Jellyfin can come to the rescue and add that side vertical navigation? It already exists in Jellyfin in the browser under the hamburger menu (be nice if we could leave that open permanently) but it would be great to have in the Roku app as well. You could probably grab a metric ton of dissatisfied Plex users that way.

I think that what you are describing here is just Folder view inside a library. That can apply to any kind of content (its up to you), its not exclusive to home videos, but its ideal for that (to mimic how you would browse random content on a personal computer).
The home screen is an aggregation of content. It's never the same as when you're inside a library.

Check the documentation if you haven't. It might contain tips on how to better organize personal / home content. There's ways to display your own cover and I believe you can even display your own information (title, description), if you're so inclined.
