I have a media library that is mostly home movies and other things that shouldn't be tagged like a normal movie. I would still like thumbnails to be generated for each file, though.
I have disabled any metadata fetcher in the library settings except ScreenGrabber and Extended Image Extractor... but I'm still having two problems:
1. Most of the files have a thumbnail like I want, however, a few were tagged like movies and had their thumbnails replaced with a movie poster (I swore I had disabled all of them, but apparently they were re-enabled or I imagined it).
2. Any new files added never get their thumbnails.
I have added some metadata to these files that I don't want to lose, so if there are solutions to these problems other than "re-add the library" I would really appreciate hearing about it.
I am running Jellyfin in docker on a headless Ubuntu Server and everything is up to date.
