In terms of other devices. My amp and speakers and connected via USB to my htpc as an external DAC, moving over to the android TV app will mean media can only be output via the TV not via external USB DAC/amp.
I have a kinda audiophile grade setup for playback of a large FLAC collection and it's great for movie audio playback too. I would rather keep this over HDR playback.
I have an old 1050 low profile in the htpc, but I have also connected my mid-end gaming PC to the TV with a 3060TI and it was the exact same result with the 30hz HDR or 60hz HDR.
It is on a long HDMI cable so it could be that, due to room setup, but I need to unwall mount my tv to test. Mega ballache.
Or perhaps just my tv only supports 30hz HDR via HDMI.
