I experimented more by scheduling recordings thru the Roku app. Both new and repeat shows recorded as intended. Next I scheduled a recording thru the Android app and, again, the recording succeeded for a repeat show. Finally, on my phone's web browser I scheduled a recording successfully, as well as on my computer's web browser. All recordings were successful. Also, scheduling a series to record all new airings correctly shows the red-highlighted icon for episodes.
WEIRD! I didn't do anything besides update the android app, and the Roku updated on it's own...so not sure what caused the fix but it appears good for now. But can I trust it to continue working?
