Do you have the option to simply set up plain OpenVPN on your router? Pretty sure that is on option on most routers.
It is just a couple of boxes to configure OpenVPN to push clients to your main VLAN. The 4 boxes I checked in my screenshot should be similar to what you have available. Checking them will essentially make a private VPN for your phone and other devices.
