SOLVED: Single episode showing up in multiple seasons

The file S05E34, is correctly detected for Season 5 Episode 34, but also shows up in the beginning of Season 6. There are no duplicate files.

I see that your metadata is in German. I wonder if that is part of the problem. Another user had issues with metadata retrieval in Dutch. Switching to English "resolved" the problem. Not ideal.

Try this.

Switching to TMDB instead of TVDB. TMDB has the German DVD order as an alternate ordering. I'm assuming you configured Sponge Bob to use the DVD ordering under "Edit Metadata". Then rescan and replace all metadata.

If that doesn't work, just for testing switch your metadata language to English.
