For those just finding this, I'm using the pre-compiled binaries from the provided Mega share. They are working fine for me (again, all due caution with this sort of thing) I personally was willing to take the risk with my little local machine, and have not experienced any issues (yet) or found anything untoward or nefarious (yet)
