I took these actions mainly due to your post not being related to an issue. It's clear you were not trying to break the rules, so I edited the post to remove the mention of the ARRs & the torrent client instead of deleting the whole post.

Replying to "what to selfhost" is a question not issue is unquestionable true but seems excessive to me.
With that logic you could warn yourself since you responding to a question as well, not an issue.
I think discouraging discussion/promotion is the correct choice but trying to delete every mention of something is counter-productive at some point.

You can also use the search function and search for theses terms. I see no moderation for the merely mention of these application there.

I've been moderating the forum for a month now. I keep track with posts as they come. I was not here from the start of the forum, nor do I have the time to go through all past posts.

If we're talking about going back and moderating the past posts mentioning the tools, that's an entirely different discussion.

You're free to bring up/point to any forum thread or post that violates the rules since the team might have missed them.

That sounds a bit like you trying to put the genie back in the bottle.

Also I was worried because Warnings are not covered by the Rules page. It could have been Warning first Account ban next time, right?
