I think discouraging discussion/promotion is the correct choice but trying to delete every mention of something is counter-productive at some point.

If we're talking about going back and moderating the past posts mentioning the tools, that's an entirely different discussion.
You're free to bring up/point to any forum thread or post that violates the rules since the team might have missed them.
Also I was worried because Warnings are not covered by the Rules page. It could have been Warning first Account ban next time, right?
