You can search for older versions of android apps on APKmirror. Since Jellyfin server 10.9 is from may 2024, you should search for a client version released before may 2024.
That's what worked for me but after a reboot of my android tv box I still get the same error. After reinstall and re-login it works again. I tried reinstalling, deleting cache without success.
